About the Author

Tom Leihbacher has lived in Briarcliff Manor for most of his life.  After graduating from Briarcliff High School and then the University of Florida, he returned home and began a career in the media and advertising sales business.   He and his family live in the Tree Streets neighborhood and enjoy a rich life filled with church and community involvements and great friendships.  Tom stays busy with work, volunteer activities, membership at Sleepy Hollow Country Club – and is usually able to keep the promise he made to his rescue dog (The Gipper) of two walks each day.  After 35+ years in the corporate world, A Gift Most Rare was his first novel.  The sequel, Summer Up! was released in July of 2022.  A third book in the series (Victory Lap) will be out in 2023 and the fourth (42nd & Lex) is slated for release in 2024.
